Annual Women’s Retreat

Join us March 2-3 (Friday from 6:30-9pm and Saturday from 8:45am-3:30pm) for a time of refreshment, fellowship, and inspiration! 

Our keynote speaker joining us will be Kristina Sachs, sharing insights on “Opening the Eyes of YOUR Heart: Seeking God’s 20/20 Vision in a 10/40 World.” 

Kristina is a woman of unique talents and fascinating life experiences. She holds a BA in Speech & Communication Studies from SF State University, and earned her MA in Christian Leadership at Fuller Theological Seminary in 2009.  Her journey has led from traveling the globe as a professional singer/actress to a career as a Leadership Development Consultant.   Having been a spokeswoman for World Vision’s Women of Vision, she presently serves International Justice Mission as an advocate and community educator. As we welcome Kristina back to HCC in March, she will have just returned from a mission trip to Haiti representing Empower International Ministries.  

Kristina has been married to our own interim senior pastor, Rev. Dennis Tarr, for 11 years, and enjoys being Grandma K to their 3 grandchildren.  Although a native San Franciscan, she comes to us from Southern California.

During our time together, we will focus our thoughts and hearts on:

Refreshment ~ as we relax and have fun!…. Renewal ~ of our relationship with Christ, our families and friends…. and Re-creation ~ as we explore what God’s unique vision is for each of us this Spring season.

The cost for our mini get-away will only be $25 per person. Scholarships are available. (Dessert & coffee on Friday night, and a tasty continental breakfast and buffet lunch on Saturday is included).
